Supporters of NRM ruling Party at Mubuku Trading Centre, Kasese District, Uganda on 24th/ 11/ 2010, Incited Violence when they blocked the Junction to Maliba Sub-county Trading Centre with Dry Banana leaves commonly known as Bisanja.
Rtd.Col.Dr. Kiiza Besigye, IPC Candidate was being accompanied to Maliba. NRM Supporters interfered with his convoy with bisanja at the above junction. The convoy stopped and supporters immediately started exchanging words and slaps.
NRM Kasese Municipality, Nyamwamba Division Candidate; Mr. Matovu led the NRM Section and him too almost received slaps from GEN.Mugisha Muntu who questioned him never to repeat such an action for he will pay heavily.
Mr. Matovu later Pleaded before the General and the convoy continued to Maliba for a rally.
Scene for the fight where citizens were left wondering why such acts in a present democratic world.
