The Nomination Exercise started at 08:30am at Rukoki District Head Quarters in the Council Hall.
However, the candidates started arriving at 9:30am.
The exercise generally went on smoothly with no external and internal interruptions, Good conduct by the candidates and Electoral officials.
The Turn up was high and a total number of Fourteen Candidates were duly nominated and of these, Two were females and Twelve, Males as showed below:-
Mr. Kule Mpiwa Stephen from Busongora North (PPP party), Mr. Nzoghu M. William (FDC Party) , Mr. Elijah Kyetunda (NRM Party) , And from Busongora South : Mr. Mbaju Jackson (FDC ), Mr. Siwako B Constantine (Independent Candidate), Mr.Kafude Boaz (NRM ) and from Bukonzo East: Mr. Kithende Kalibogha Aprunalis (Independent Candidate), Mr. Bwambale Bihande Yokasi (FDC party), Mr. Kahungu Phile Amon (PPP Party). In Bukonzo West : Mr. Kiyonga Chrispus (NRM ), Ms. Kabanyoro Biira Lucy (FDC) and while in the Municipality: Mr. Ategeka B Moses (Independent Candidate), Mr. Bwambale Syahuka Musa
(FDC ), finally for Kasese District Women MP: Ms. Kiiza Winfred (FDC)
