On the 15th of January presidential candidate under the IPC ticket Dr. Kizza Besigye finally arrived in soroti. The city was filled with excitement. Before the arrival of the Dr. Kizza Besigye, supporters filled the streets sweeping and pouring water to remove dust. They laid a maroon carpet where their candidate would walk over.
